Well Kat-- my boys were all allergic to Pampers- so even though I didn't know this was going to happen- with my first son- I packed a few Huggies, Was I ever thankful. Other than that I had wipes, lotion, a few onesies, playsuits (terry sleepers) socks and his outfit to come home and a few cloth diapers for burp rags if needed (and they were) :)

Congratulations and good luck!

-A change of clothes for you to wear home. You'll be the same size as you were when you were 6 months pregnant, so you'll want to pack maternity pants & shirt that fit at 6 months.
-Extra pair of socks for you
-Outfit for your baby to wear home
-Baby blanket
-Camera
-Your hairbrush, toothbrush, any other cosmetics you might want
-Lip balm
-Some energy bars

That's about it. I actually didn't pack my bag until I was in labor, for both pregnancies. Don't worry, you'll have plenty of time to pack your bag.

Once you're in labor, and before you go to the hospital, I strongly advise taking a long hot shower and eating a good meal. It's the last shower and good meal you'll have for a while.

Good luck and hang in there!

personally I didn't pack a diaper bag for the hospital. first of all the hospital will provide everything you will need during your stay there for your baby, they discourage dressing them in your own outfits while there since it makes it harder for them to check the vitals and such. Secondly, who in their right mind goes anywhere but strait home right after your discharged?

For Labor and Childbirth:
*Socks or slippers(labor rooms are often kept cool)
*Glasses(You may have to remove your contact lenses)
*Lip Balm(Your lips may become dry during relaxation or breathing techniques)
*Hard candy to suck on
*Music
*Snacks
*A camera, with extra batteries and plenty of film, or, if you have a digital camera,an extra memory card
*A vidoe camera, with battery fully charged
*A list of phone numbers to call when the baby arrives
*A telephone card-most cellular hones are not permitted in the hospital

After Birth:
*Pajamas or a nightgown that opens in front to allow for easy breast-feeding
*A robe
*A nursing bra or,if you plan to bottle feed a supportive bra
*Underwear
*Toleitries
*A small amount of money for snacks for items you forgot to bring

For Going Home:
*Losse clothing-probably midpregnancy maternity outfit
*A baby outfit,including a hat
*A baby blanket
*A carseat
