EVERYTHING you need. I would just bring a "going home outfit" or something specific you wanted baby to wear! Haha!! not only does the hospital provide EVERYTHING, they also send you home with a bunch of stuff. I only changed a few diapers anyway teh 2 days I was there. The nurses did it the rest of the time. I had 2 bags full of diapers, wipes, undershirts, a thermometer, an spirator, you name it. They also give you formula and a nice diaper bag at my hospital. So, no, she doesn't need to bring anything except the car seat and maybe a going home outfit depending on the weather. It was super hot here so he ended up in just an undershirt and a diaper. I did use mine to carry some of the stuff I got at the hospital home. If her hospital gives away as much stuff as mine did she might want to pack a couple walmart bags to help carry the stuff.
