I just bought a diaper genie elite 2 w/ a refill in it already. How do I get the bag to roll out?

I just bought a diaper genie elite 2 and it had a refill already in it but I can't figure out how to get the bag to come out to tie a knot. It's still all attached and I can't get it out. Any suggestions?
The bag refill is already in the diaper genie, I can't figure out how to get the bag to roll out from there.

    My best advice is RETURN the diaper genie!! They are a pain in the butt to empty and when it is time to empty it the smell is awful. I have found it is just better to throw the diapers in the trash ( wrap the stinky ones in a plastic bag) then just throw them out with the rest of the garbage.

    There should be a tab on the blue refill ‘O’. Pull that tab off, and pull at the bag to come out… The end should come out, tie a knot and insert the refill back in the pail. PRESTO!

    Edited to say: I absolutely LOVE the Diaper Genie Elite 2… It’s so wonderful. It holds tons of diapers and it doesn’t stink. We change the refill about once a month, and it’s so easy to cut off the used bag.
