How many wipes do you go through for a diaper changing?
I thought this would be an interesting question. I normally use 1 wipe for a wet diaper, and 5 or 6 for a poopy one. I don't even know if that's a normal number.
So how many wipes do you go through for a diaper changing? Both a wet and a poopy one?
Ha! Exactly, I have a hard time folding a wipe over and reusing it. I almost always end up with poop on my hands. I haven't got a good technique down yet!

Wet = 1 boy or girl
Poopy well now depends on just how old the child is and how far it has made it up the child’s back. Some times wipes just aren’t enough and so in the tub they go. A typical is a 3-4 I do the fold over trick with the first 1-2. Now my wife on the other hand uses 5-6 cause she doesn’t like to touch them after they are dirty.

I use 1 for wet diapers and 2-3 for a poopy-depending on how bad it is! Sometimes she will have a really bad one that takes more.

It depends on the quality of the wet wipes.

good question! I use one for a wet diaper and anywhere from 5 to 7 for a poopy one!

I went through 1 with the wet diaper and about 4-7 with the poopy diaper. It grossed me out to fold it and use it again so I just got a whole new one….PLUS sometimes it’s really hard to just get ONE wipe out and I’d end up pulling 5 out anyway.

It depends. For a wet one its one. For poopy it depends on how messy it is. The most I think I went though were about 10 and least is about 3. I wish I could do cloth diapers. There are no services for it in my area and I have no wash machine.

I have a son, I normally use one for a wet one, and up to 4 for a poopy one. Never had to use that many!

1 for pee and 5 for poopie, but sometimes more. I use Alimentum, and her poopy diapers can be quite messy.

Our poopy diapers really differ. Sometimes I’ve been able to get by with using 1, and other times I’ve used up to 10.
I feel like we used to use a lot less when our son was young, but now that he’s a toddler, I use more just to try to get the job done as fast as possible since he’s so wiggly.
My husband uses at least 10 no matter how bad it is because he has no concept of conserving & making the most of a wipe, but I’m just thankful he’ll change poopy diapers that I try not to complain

I use one wipe for a wet diaper. And 3-4 for a poopy diaper. Then I use one wipe to wipe my hands after I add the cream to his bottom.

1 for a wet one, 2 or 3 for a poopy one. Except when it gets real messy. lol

My son is 4 1/2 and for a poopy one about 1/4 of a box, lol. Seriously probably 10-12. I don’t use any for wet because he will pee in the toilet.

I go through the same as you, occasionally 2 for a wet diaper instead of one.

wet= one wipe
poop= 5-6 wipes

I use just one wet baby wash cloth… just water for the pees, and a bit of diaper spray onto the bottom first for the poops. There usually isn’t much there by the time you wipe most of it off with the front of the diaper. The cloths just go in to the wash. Much better for baby than the chemical-laden disposable wipes.

One for a peepee diaper, and 3-4 for a poopy, 5 if it is a biggie!

With my first I used 1 or 2 even for a poopy diaper, until he was older (maybe 1 year?)
With my second he had deeeeep creases in his upper legs and a very large loose scrotum, and other nooks and crannies. It was at least 5 to clean him AND the first month or so every time you would clean him he would poop. So I would go through 10-12 wipes, and often at least two diapers.

Wet dipes…1.
Poopy dipes…Well, that depends on the amount, but usually two. I’ve gotten pretty good at the folding the wipe over "technique" so usually two, but sometimes three.

1 for a wet diaper and 2 or 3 for a poopy diaper. Sometimes if it’s really bad I have to use up to 4 or 5 for a poopy.

1/2 wipe to 1 full wipe for wet diapers
1 to 2 wipes for poo’s( depending on how much etc)
Awhile back my son had explosive poopies and that took like 2 to 4 wipes. ICK!
