How do I get my baby to hold still during diaper changing?
I have a one year old and any time I try to get him changed, he always moving and twisting his body. I have someone help me hold his hands down because he tries to grab his "winkie". It's very frustrating when he has a big poopy diaper and he is moving like crazy and trying to touch down there. How do I get him to stay still and focus on something else?
He also starts to fuss and cry sometimes and kicks his legs at me.

You could give the little dear a toy, if he’s a thrower I would suggest hanging a toy over the changing table so if it’s swatted you don’t have to jeopardize taking your hands off of him while changing.

He doesn’t understand and may think that it is time for a nap or something. Try giving him a toy or something that would take both of his hands so you can change him. Also, have everything you need to change him right next to you. Babies like to keep moving once they learn to walk. If this doesn’t work then he will have to fuss until you are done.

duct tape!!! it works for anything!!! Not really…I usually give my son a toy to play with, along with talking or singing or making funny noises. It seems to work pretty well. by the way…PLEASE dont use duct tape!! (it leaves a sticky mess!) haha
