does anyone use cloth diapers rather than disposable?

FitGuru asked:

i have to be sure to penny pinch.

using cloth diapers may be cheaper, but more troublesome.

plus, after using more laundry detergent and more visits to the laundry mat, would it be almost as expensive as disposable diapers?

and also, if you feel that it is less expensive and better overall, would you please give me some pointers on how to go about using cloth diapers on a regular basis please?

thanks in advance!

cloth diapers- which kind is less likely to leak?

Annie R asked:

I want to start on cloth diapers for my 10 month old son, but I am wondering which are least likely to leak? Which are most absorbent? I am open to any kind, but I don't want the prefolds or anything I actually have to pin. Thanks!

Who’s using cloth diapers, and what kind are you using?

Cherry Blossom asked:

I've been using BumGenius 3.0 since last year in August when my baby was born, and they are absolutley awesome! I love them! What kind of cloth diapers are you using, and why did you choose to use them?

Originally I chose these because they are cheaper in the long run, and can be used for multiple children, and is environmentally friendly..no disposables for landfills from this household! =)

Well Im having twins and Im thinking that disposable are the way to go...what do you all think?

Have you used cloth diapers with multiple children?

mzwest83 asked:

Hi All! My husband and I are trying for another baby. Because we use fertility treatments was have a higher chance of twins and up. I already have a little girl in tie cloth diapers. I love these cloth diapers but my husband thinks they are to hard to use. So I would be doing all the changes if I stick with the tie. Has anyone on here had multiple children in cloth diapers? If so what ones do you use?
Thanks
